Gluten Free Granola

This gluten free homemade granola has everything you are looking for.. crunchy, healthy and so easy to make!

I have always been a huge fan of granola but the gluten free varieties can be so expensive. Making this at home allows me to always have a jar of fresh granola sitting on our counter top.

Homemade Cinnamon Granola- Gluten Free

  • 2 cups Oats (GF)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 cup Slivered Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Flax Seed
  • 1/4 cup Chia Seed
  • 1/2 cup Organic Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 tsp Cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. Combine oats, coconut, almonds, flax seed and chia seeds in a large bowl. Melt coconut oil and mix in the maple syrup. Pour the oil/syrup mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.

  3. Pour granola onto baking sheet and separate with spatula to create an even layer on the pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Gently stir and cook an additional 5-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

  4. Set baking sheet on a cooling rack. The granola will crisp up as it cools.

I have also made this recipe with organic honey in place of maple syrup and it is delish!

Sprinkle this granola on your favorite yogurt, fruit or pour into a bowl and devour with a spoon. The possibilities are endless!
